Support the Norway-America Association as a member and become a part of an organization that provides guidance and scholarship opportunities to students who would not have access to them otherwise. Past recipients of NORAM scholarships include Norwegians and Americans looking to studying abroad in either the USA or Norway, respectively, and we believe that this culture exchange has been, and will continue to be, beneficial for all involved. As Norway moves into the future, the country’s need for well-educated workers with an eye for global context becomes increasingly apparent, and by giving scholars the means to attend some of the world’s best universities, NORAM is investing in this international future.

NORAM has been helping students since 1919 — a longevity that would not have been possible without our members. We do not receive financial support from the Norwegian government, and as such, we depend on the support of businesses and individuals in order to continue awarding scholarships.

Who supports NORAM? Many of our members are past scholarship recipients, parents of scholars, or simply Good Samaritans who want NORAM’s mission of providing intelligent, hard-working students with scholarships to continue. If you fall into any one of these categories, you are welcome to lend us your support as a member of NORAM!

Membership fees are as follows:

Member: 300 NOK

Student Member: 200 NOK

Friend of NORAM: 1000 NOK

Celebratory Membership: 3000 NOK

Membership fees can be paid through this website.

Donate to NORAM

NORAM gladly accepts donations related to any event. Your contribution does not need to be the result of a special occasion – maybe you’re a past scholarship recipient who simply wishes to give future students the same opportunities that you had.

If you wish to give a larger donation as the the basis for a new scholarship, contact us by phone or email and read about how we handle personal information here.
