This program is administered by the American-Scandinavian Foundation.

This program allows American colleges and universities to apply for funding to host a visiting lecturer from Norway or Sweden. Lectureships should be in the area of contemporary studies with an emphasis on one of five areas:

• Public Policy

• Conflict resolution

• Environmental Studies

• Multiculturalism

• Healthcare
   

The award includes:

$20,000 teaching/research stipend
$5,000 travel stipend
J-1 visa sponsorship as a short-term scholar (up to 6 months) through the ASF Visitor Exchange Program
